Moving Forward
Wow. A lot has been happening over the last week. We now have tickets for Uganda!! We’re scheduled to travel on November 17th. Much has to happen before we board . . . . expedited passports need to arrive in time, all the vaccines and malaria meds need to be taken in, permission to visit the country (since David works for the U.S. government) has to be granted. Lots of reasons to keep praying! Some great answers to prayer have already come. David found coworkers to cover all his class spots while he is gone – not an easy task. Thanks God! The first set of vaccines went in without any issues. The tickets were purchased at a very reasonable price (they’re always expensive though!) with a great itinerary. We have reservations with MAF (missionary aviation fellowship – who will fly us to Bundibugyo once we arrive in Uganda).
We’re so thankful for this opportunity to just follow God’s lead. We have many questions, some concerns. They’re all answered by one thought, one faith . . . . . where God is leading, we will follow. It’s the very best place in the world to be . . . fully in God’s hands, dependent. We’re truly blessed. Thank you Daddy-God!
