It seems that God's priority continues the refining of our faith and molding us into Christ likeness. It seems your faith is most refined by relying on God for this provision - not the equity in your old home. Sigggh...we talked about this last night in relation to credit cards - how using them as an emergency plan was saying 'in credit we trust' rather than in God's provision...maybe not a perfect parallel when you are talking about very survival but one that is made in my mind regardless...
