Who We Are:
We, David and Annelise, Naomi (6) and Quinn (4) are full time missionaries serving in rural Western Uganda. We live in Bundibugyo, in the village of Bundimalinga, four kilometers East of the Congolese border.
We work primarily at Christ School Bundibugyo, a Christian secondary school serving high-need students. Annelise plans to begin working with female students and staff primarily in the areas of evangelism, discipleship, and servant leadership. David is working to develop Christ School into an independent and financially sustainable project that will develop students both academically and spiritually. It is our hope and prayer that Christ School will change the future of East Africa as we build and encourage the character and integrity of its’ future leaders, our students. Naomi and Quinn attend Rwenzori Mission School, our team school which has 11 students and two full time mission teachers. They also spend time building local relationships and experiencing the amazing African world around them.
For our whole family, as members of a village and small town community we spend a significant amount of time in friendship and partnership with local neighbors and friends and in assisting with financial and practical needs on an ongoing basis. And as members of a thriving mission team comprised of five families and eight singles, we all work together on the basic practical life needs that accompany life in the bush.
Our passions include education, grace-based families, and a moving away from division in the church.
